Everyday life is slowly returning here in Copenhagen. The whole family is now back in the rat 🐀 race. Still keeping distance, not taking public, and still haven’t been out for dinner 🥘.
Tomorrow, we are invited over to a couple of friends though, so we’ll see how that goes.
More importantly thought, summer time is here, and with that thoughts of the summer holiday is starting to become urgent. We did have plans for a longer European road trip this year, and hence the messages from European leaders have been followed closely in the little family.
In the middle of this week, the Danish PM laid out the plans.
Like WTF, we can go to Germany, Norway and Iceland? Iceland 🇮🇸 ? That’s halfway to Greenland 🇬🇱? I’ve never been there, and I would not know how to go? Norway 🇳🇴 ? Been a 1000 times. It’s cold 🥶 why would we go there in the summertime? Also it’s expensive even though the NOK has taken a beating on the oil price drop. But still.
Guess the only place left is Germany 🇩🇪. Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Allen and so on. Also been a 1000 times. 🤷♂️
Hmm 🤔, guess we will be taking a small trip to Hamburg then, cause we cannot just be 3 weeks in our vacation home. Also, we kinda rented it out in one of the weeks to a German couple. In total we had it rented out for 6 weeks – all for Germans. But then –
WTF? Did a better place open for you guys? Are Germans allowed to go to Spain 🇪🇸 and we are not? Or Italy 🇮🇹? God damm this corona virus 🦠 sucks. Not only is it limiting my vacation choices, it also just removed 1.100USD in rental income.
Well, I guess what I am trying to say is – do you know anyone who is short a danish vacation home 🏡 then I have one available in week 25 and 26.
